Wood is an important natural resource, one of the few that are renewable. It is quite possibly the most useful and versatile material on the planet as we know it. It is prevalent in our everyday lives and the economy, in wood-frame houses and furniture; newspapers, books, and magazines; bridges and railroad ties; fence posts and utility poles; fuelwood; textile fabrics; and organic chemicals. There is no denying the tremendous significance of timber in our lives moving forward.

Trees of some of the best and strongest hardwoods take years upon years to grow. It is very unique in nature and characteristic, with no method to truly replicate the production of wood by any synthetic means known to man. From the beautiful array of wood grains to the incredible tensile strength of timber, we, as a furniture company, understand the importance of this precious resource and strive to use wood in the best and most efficient manner possible.

Our Zero Waste Campaign is an internal initiative to reduce the amount of timber waste as a result of our normal production operations. Offcuts that would otherwise be thrown as waste are carefully kept to repurpose them into beautiful pieces so that every last bit of wood is used to its maximum possible potential. We are in a constant flux of development and aim to continue to provide a wide range of products manufactured from the waste timber. The products that marked the genesis of this initiative were a series of table lamps in various shapes and sizes. The range has grown to producing trays, drink coasters, jewellery boxes and more.

Proceeds from this initiative are contributing towards the replanting of indigenous trees all over the country to restore our forest cover which has diminished due to the lack of continued sustainable practice.
