What a start it had been to 2019 – so much so that we didn't realize how quickly January had gone by!

The best part of it however has to be being able to see our work installed at Kafe Utu in Singapore. For those of you planning your next vacation – Singapore is a must-see and while you’re there, you just can’t afford to miss out on the UTU experience! Nestled on the cozy Jiak Chuan Road, the beautiful red façade of the UTU building is hard to miss.

At the entrance hang the beautiful pure copper lampshades handwoven by our Waya artists. As you walk into the café on the ground floor, it’s hard not to smile at all the work that left the studio last year - one of our beautiful hand-carved doors, mirrors and a long column ‘cladding’. And don’t get us started on the food – we’ve probably come back a few pounds heavier.
